Lectrosonics HM172

The Lectrosonics HM172 is an omnidirectional earset microphone made for Lectrosonics wireless bodypack transmitters. It hooks over the ear and places a small capsule near the corner of the mouth, so the voice stays at the same level whether the person turns their head, walks or gestures.

Its moderate sensitivity suits both speech and singing, which makes it a good choice for presenters, conference speakers, fitness instructors, theatre and worship. The omni capsule is forgiving about exact placement, so it's quick to fit on a new person, and the thin boom stays discreet on camera and on stage.

The HM172 ends in a TA5F plug wired for Lectrosonics UHF bodypacks such as the LM, SM and UM series, so it plugs straight in with no adapter.
