Sennheiser SKM 565 G2 (A: 516-558 MHz)

/

The Sennheiser SKM 565 G2 is a wireless handheld microphone from the evolution wireless G2 500 Series, with a supercardioid condenser head. This unit works in the A band, 516 to 558 MHz, and pairs with an ew 500 G2 receiver, or a later evolution receiver, set to the same frequency.

The condenser capsule gives a detailed, open vocal sound with a crisp top end, and the tight supercardioid pattern helps reject stage monitors and the band around the singer, which means more gain before feedback. It's a good fit for lead vocals, choirs, speeches and hosting, when you want more clarity than a typical dynamic handheld.

Up to 1,440 tunable frequencies, organised in banks of presets, make it easy to run several systems together. The transmitter puts out 30 mW and runs more than 8 hours on two AA batteries. The rugged metal body is built for touring, galas and corporate events. Rent it in Montréal with a matching receiver for a complete wireless vocal channel.
