Tentacle Sync C01

The Tentacle Sync C01 is a short timecode cable that connects a Tentacle SYNC E or ORIGINAL timecode generator to RED cameras with a 4-pin LEMO sync port. Plug it in, and the camera receives the same timecode as your sound recorder and other cameras, so clips line up automatically in the edit.

It works with RED DSMC2 cameras through accessories that carry the 4-pin sync port, such as the V-Lock I/O Expander, Base Expander and Jetpack-SDI Expander. At 40 cm, it's long enough to reach from a Tentacle mounted on the cage or rig to the camera's port, without loose cable getting in the way. The right-angle Neutrik mini jack sits flat against the Tentacle, and the original LEMO connector locks securely into the camera.

Please note that this cable does not fit the RED Ranger, Komodo or V-Raptor: use a Tentacle C02 (5-pin LEMO) for the Ranger, or a C21 (9-pin) for the Komodo and V-Raptor. Rent it in Montréal with your Tentacle sync kit.
