Tentacle Sync C21

The Tentacle Sync C21 is a short timecode cable that connects a Tentacle SYNC E or ORIGINAL timecode generator to RED KOMODO and V-RAPTOR cameras through their 9-pin EXT connector. Plug it in, and the camera records the same timecode as your sound recorder and other cameras, so clips line up automatically in the edit.

The KOMODO and V-RAPTOR don't use the older 4-pin or 5-pin LEMO sync ports, so this is the cable they need. At 40 cm, it reaches from a Tentacle mounted on the cage or top handle down to the EXT port, without loose cable getting in the way of the rig. The right-angle Neutrik mini jack sits flat against the Tentacle, and the original 9-pin LEMO connector locks securely into the camera.

For older RED DSMC2 cameras with a 4-pin sync port, use a Tentacle C01 instead, and for the RED Ranger, a C02. Rent the C21 in Montréal with your Tentacle sync kit for any KOMODO or V-RAPTOR shoot.
