RØDE PSA1

The RØDE PSA1 is a professional studio boom arm that holds a broadcast microphone right where you need it, then moves out of the way when you don't. It's a familiar sight in radio studios, podcast rooms and streaming setups, and a cleaner, more flexible option than a desk stand.

The parallelogram design keeps the microphone pointing in the same direction while you raise, lower or swing the arm, so the sound stays consistent when the speaker moves or when you share one mic between people. Internal springs keep the movement quiet, which matters when the mic is live, and the arm turns a full 360 degrees around its base.

It clamps to the edge of a desk, or screws into a desk through the threaded insert. The PSA1 is made for microphones of about 700 g to 1.1 kg, including the shock mount or clip, which covers most broadcast mics such as the RØDE PodMic. Lighter mics may not hold position.
