Tentacle Sync C13

The Tentacle Sync C13 is a short timecode cable made to connect a Tentacle SYNC E or ORIGINAL timecode generator to an ARRI ALEXA Mini. Its 90° LEMO Anglissimo connector points upward, toward the red dot, so the Tentacle can sit neatly on top of the camera body.

A regular straight LEMO plug sticks out from the ALEXA Mini's timecode port and gets in the way of the rig. The angled connector on the C13 keeps the cable tight against the camera instead, so it doesn't catch on a cage, handle or matte box during fast setups and moves. Once connected, the camera runs on the same timecode as the sound recorder and other cameras, so footage and audio line up automatically in the edit.

At 30 cm, the cable is just long enough to reach from the top of the body to the port. The right-angle Neutrik mini jack sits flat against the Tentacle. Rent it in Montréal with your Tentacle sync kit for any ALEXA Mini shoot.
